In 2008, a selection of images from Karen Halverson’s exploration of the Colorado River was published by the University of California Press.
Halverson explains, I explored the Colorado and the Green from their origins in Colorado and Wyoming, respectively, to the mouth of the Colorado in Mexico. The book contains 67 color plates documenting rushing canyon waters, complex water management systems, immense reservoirs, and diminished lowland waters.
